The main goal of the project is to enrich VET educational offer in the area of designing and creating educational tools and services, by preparing a comprehensive Design Thinking (hereafter DT) Manual for education by September 2025 in the frames of the trans-national partnership.
the increase of awareness of the DT methodology (good practices, testing)
transferring and adapting the DT approach to the needs of VET education (staff training programme, multiplier events)
providing a comprehensive set of DT tools for vocational training of a staff that designs and implements educational services/products (Manual with a supplement and teaching material)
The whole world is changing, while education remains stagnant, relying on patterns from past centuries. Passively, we sit through lectures, learning just for tests and not for the fun of learning - this is a burden for both students and educators. Such education does not meet the needs of the job market, so to change it, we want to provide tools and knowledge to people involved in teaching others. One of these tools can be DESIGN THINKING, which is used to create new products and services, taking into account the problems and needs of users. We can also scale and apply DT in both formal and informal education, based on building empathy, experimenting, engaging in conversations with others, and embracing change without fear.
